A first time visit to a Blackpool. This B&B offered £50 per room per night so difficult to compare against other establishments in the area. We had be warned with previous comments regarding room size but did not believe a photograph could capture the sense of space so well. It was impossible for either of us to pass each other in our room or in the bathroom - lucky we know each other well! No dressing table so nowhere for ladies to apply "War paint" before going out. The window sill was required to store toiletries and beautification treatments. The TV had a postage stamp screen and on arrival the room smelt of bad eggs - This was highlighted to the gentleman who said it was probably the water pipes - very reassuring comment, we thought. The smell was a regular visitor to the room during our stay. The wardrobe was in front of the window so obscuring most of the natural light into the room. The room itself would be better placed as a single but I do understand the need to maximize sales in a difficult financial climate - a shame as the room was intrusive and stressful to live in. A large person would find the bathroom virtually impossible to use. The breakfast was fine. The lady lady is a great character and wasted being in the kitchen whilst her husband would be better placed in the kitchen. He failed to know basic information about the trams when asked and could do with an injection of seaside humor which is provided in bucketfuls from his Missus. Great location near the front and amenities. Have stayed in better places spending less cash.

Room Tip: Miss room 9

We arrived on sunday 19th august to a lovely welcome by john. our cases were taken to our room for us and we helped ourselves to a cuppa in our room. the room was very clean and provided all the things the web site says. the breakfast was great and kept us going through the day no problem at all. we found a very friendly atmosphere in the bar at night with sandra and john and had a great laugh with them. john was able to provide us with lots of local tourist information and makes a great waiter. sandra is a great chef and was more than willing to help us book advanced tickets online to save us some pennies. 5 minutes walk to the central pier and tram stop. bus stop at the end of road to lytham st annes was handy aswell. all in all great value for money and we wouldnt hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. if you want to treat sandra to a gift, she loves curly wurlys

we have just got home after a lovely stay at the bianca guest house . The hosts were very plesent and rooms were clean tidy. the rooms had freeview tv tea and coffee and ceiling fans which were perfect as it was very warm when we stayed. The breakfast was well cooked and plenty of ceral and toast, tea or coffee.we would highly recommend the bianca guest house as we had a very plesent stay, 5 minute walk to the beach lots of shops near by. car parking was free on the main road 400 yards away or pay and park at bottom of road.we would stay there again as we were made to feel very welcomed.

Room Tip: if hot as for a room with ceiling fan most of the 10 rooms have them

Having just returned from Bianca in blackpool following a mini break. Was greeted by a lovely friendly lady. The bedroom and en suite bathroom were clean with fresh thick towels, shower, body wash gels,tea/coffee in the room. After a long day spent on the beach, shopping which is all within walking distance it was lovely to climb into there comfortable bed.Breakfast was a choice of cereals, toast, full english. However I asked for scramble egg which was not a problem. They also have a bar which is no more expensive than the pub.Overall I feel I had great value for money and with the hosts nothing was too much trouble.I would stay at the Bianca again.

Room Tip: Friendly clean lovely place to stay.
