Arrived Friday afternoon and was met by a lovely lady who checked us in and showed us our rooms and how to use the shower etc - very friendly. Breakfast was ok, nice food but was a bit annoyed at having my plate taken away whilst still eating. Felt very rushed. The next day we went out and as we arrived back to the hotel about 5pm another resident was entering and held the door open for us and as me and my friend walked up to our room was chased up the stairs by the male owner asking what room we were in and were we sure we were staying there as he didn't recognise us and that we came in with someone else as if we were sneaking in or sneaking someone in with us. We told him our room number and he apologised and went back downstairs. Later on that night we nipped to the shop to get a drink as the bar was never open as we came back we found we were being watched by the guy and then followed up the stairs and ignored when we said night, I felt like a child and that we were or already had done something wrong. It wasn't as if we were loud or out late as the first night it was 1130 when we got in and the second night we didn't even go out apart from to the shop. I felt as though this hotel preferred older residents and not younger ones (26 and 28 years) it's like they thought we were instantly going to cause trouble and be noisy when it was us that were woken up by the other residents through the night rattling keys and banging about. Bed was comfy. Small room but what we expected for £90
for 2 nights just really did not feel welcome at all!!

We had a 2 night stay here recently. This is an old-style B&B with decor from 20 years ago but clean and tidy.

The room was small but adequate in all respects. Breakfast was a bit rigid in that apart from the choice of orange juice or cornflakes you got what you were given but it was ok. Also it was 9 o'clock or nothing.

The proprietor is rather eccentric but very pleasant and entertaining.

However, at 50 quid a night for a double room with breakfast during the lights it was good value for money.

My First Visit was when I Won tickets to Blackpool Lights switch on (2nd Sept) I had not booked, I arrived in Blackpool & sorted Accomm when Arrived. I came across The Pembroke. What a find, Absolutely fantastic, I was on my own, Felt welcome from the begining. The Pembroke was really clean, Could not fault.

I was so happy with my stay I decided to rebook.
The booking was with my Family & Friend. (4 of us)
I booked a double room for 1 night and a twin room for 2 nights
(the weekend of 7th October 2011).
Again could not fault the hotel, Joan & Alan was welcoming, Helpful & couldnt do enough.
Again it was so clean, Comfortable Beds, Both rooms where big enough. With tv, Tea & coffee Making, Hairdryer etc.
Breakfast was delicious, really good. Could not fault anything.
Would highly recommend, So would my Family & friend. I cant wait to stay again.
And location in Blackpool was ideal for us.
