“Loved it !”
Reviewed September 17, 2012

What a lovely, welcoming, charming B&B North Crest is, made so by Sue and Jim.

The whole place is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. We had room 7 right at the top and we loved it.

The breakfast choice is fantastic and the quality, excellent. There is fresh fruit, yogurt, cereals, museli, full English, porridge, vegetarian, cakes, pastries, homemade jam and marmalade (excellent), toast, juices, tea and coffee.

It's perfectly located too, with the tram stop at the end of the street and away from the noise and bustle. An all day tram ticket it £3.50, really good value when you consider how much single tickets are and how much walking you can do.

I would recommend to anyone, in fact, don't even bother to look anywhere else, you won't find better !

We have been twice now and every time are greeted with a warm friendly welcome by Jim & Sue.
Breakfast there in plenty of choice for eveyone & the rooms are spotless.
Jim & Sue are always on hand to advise you of places to go & which shows are on in Blackpool & places to eat in town. Transport is handy from end of street by bus or tram or even a steady stroll as we did a couple of nights. The hotel is situated out of town down a quiet side street so we left car at hotel & travelled on local transport it was so much cheaper then paying to park in town.
Nothing is to much trouble for Jim & Sue they are always on hand....
Thanks for yet again a great stay still advising our friends and family to go to The North Crest

Room Tip: North Crest is handy for the beach if you have children, The 4 poster bed is great for couples Nor...

Gordon & I decided to go away last minute to Blackpool. Reading reviews on tripadvisor this wee gem in Blackpool scored 94% which is far superior to any of the large hotels. We looked at the photos and read reviews and booked. Will tell all friends and family who wish to go to Blackpool to stay at the North Crest Hotel. Room, facilities, breakfast and the owners Jim and Sue were very friendly and welcoming. We arrived at just about 10.00pm but had called due to poor weather and still received a welcoming arrival. Will stay again if in Blackpool

Here with friends a few weeks ago. Fantastic rooms, fantastic breakfasts, fantastic hosts! Well situated with very good travel links into town. Jim and Sue were friendly and very approachable. Thoroughly enjoyed my time here and i will definately be back soon to sample some more of their excellent hospitality. Thank you to you both.

This was our first time at the North Crest (being unable to book into our usual accomodation) and we will definitely be returning and recommending this hotel to our family and friends. On arrival, Jim gave us a very warm welcome and carried our case to our room. He also recommended some lovely restaurants and told us where we could purchase day saver tickets to use on the bus/tram - really useful for getting around and saved us a fortune! Our room was very tastefully decorated, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. Sue (Jim's wife) is equally lovely and a fantastic cook! Breakfast was delicious (a selection of fruits, cereals, homemade loaves, croissants etc. followed by a Full English and toast) and Sue's homemade banana and sultana loaves were to die for! A relaxing, friendly hotel run by a lovely couple who obviously have very high standards when it comes to service, decor, cleanliness and hospitality. Thanks for a wonderful break. Jo & Stu
