A stunning array of sculptures, including the hauntingly beautiful wave organ (time it right with the tides to hear it play) and the enormous glitterball, which is lit up at night during try holiday season, providing a mesmerising display. Sea views, accessible for wheelchair users and prays alike, lots of seating and rught next to the tramway.
It's fun during the Illuminations too, and there's plenty of parking at the roadside and further back in the residential streets if needs be.
The Solaris cafe is a good place for refreshments, or there are various hotels and a couple of restaurants (including a vegan one) nearby too.
Good fun, free and a lot is impressive public artwork.

More seafronts could take a leaf out of Blackpool's book.

There is lots to look at as you stroll - huge sculptures. Daughter loved the massive glitterball, I liked the whale's tail diving into the pavement.

Worth the time to go for a walk.

Very good job done on the new promenade, but beware cyclists they zoom past, keep eyes peeled at all times. Its a nice easy level walk the full length of the beach.

What an amazing walk way it goes on forever. Great prices of art even the lampost were very different to normal one's. The best part was the windy wondy things so fascinating how they can bend so Mich specially in the January weather was very windy but worth seeing all year round rain or sun

One thing I didn't see was information sigh's about the different art pieces and maybe old photographs of how it use to be and the old tram rails
