We have just arrived back from a wonderful couple of days at this hotel.

The hotel is adverstised as a dog friendly hotel which is what we were looking for as wanted to take our small staffie away for a couple of days.

Julie and Steve were amazing and made us feel welcome as soon as we arrived. We were greeted with hot drinks and biscuits and throughout our stay nothing was too much trouble. Both Julie and Steve went out of their way for us with everything from the amazing breakfasts to the bar downstairs (very good prices for drinks) where the dog was even welcomed with a bowl of water.

Thank you both so much and I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone whether you are taking your canine friend or not. The hotel is in a great position only a few steps away from the promenade, rooms were very clean and all the other guests staying there were lovely it really has a warm and friendly feeling.

We will definitely be visiting again and both myself and my partner feel that we have stumbled accross a little golden nugget.

Thanks again Julie and Seve and we can't wait to come back !!

Room Tip: There are some rooms that are advertised as being smaller and you are advised of this at the time of the booking, we were in room 1 which was one of the smaller rooms but this was adequate as we spent most of the time out, just to make you aware that if you did want a bigger room there are available.

Stayed for a long weekend Fri 20th - Mon 23rd July, lovely welcome upon arrival, rooms were small but more than adequate for anybody's needs, breakfasts were superb, you could get any combination you wanted. Small bar downstairs great for finishing your day off in, overall all we had a great stay, with lovely hosts and will be returning to stay for any future visits to Blackpool.

Stayed at this hotel last week with two ten year olds and two small dogs. Couldn't have had a better stay. This hotel is warm and friendly and makes you feel at home from the minute you walk in the door. We chose this hotel as the girls wanted to visit the Pleasure Beach and the owners of The Chesterfield (Julie and Steve) offer a fantastic dog watching service. We went to the Pleasure Beach all day Wednesday and Thursday and had a great time knowing the dogs were being looked after (having seen the photos, it was more like spoilt). The hotel is perfect for all the Blackpool attractions. Very near the front and halfway between the Pleasure Beach and Blackpool Tower. Would recommend this hotel highly. We'll definitely be going back.

We have been here a couple of times and have just returned from a long weekend.. Julie and Chris must be the most charming couple in the hotel business. Nothing was a bother to them. Breakfast delicious with plenty to eat and more if needed. The last time we were there we took the evening meals and they were superb. Parking was organised for us. We had a dog with us and there was not a problem. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It is not far from the town and entertainment. A minute from the hotel and you are at the front for the buses or trams.

Room Tip: There are two floors if you are older pick the first floor if available, because of the stairs.
