me and my husband stayed for one night anniversary /50th bday treat. We booked a superior room. On arrival ken the owner greeted us and showed us where to park and up to our room offering to carry our bagswhich was nice, proceeded to take us up to the top of the house where our room was no 6. Well..... we said thank you after he had told us about the breakfast forms etc, then the realisation that 1. it was a attic room with a skylight which i would never had booked if i had known this (does not tell you on website) cos i feel claustrofobic but in the end i said to my husband its just one night? on the plus side very clean good sized tv very small en suite.... but with nice little extras (cotton wool buds pads etc) anyway came home later inthe evening quite late and went to bed , You have to leave the skylight open or you will be sweating so .... it rained thru the night quite heavily and i never slept very well as my husband was right under the gap and i was worried he d get rained on(which did happen but we managed to laugh it off)... Went down to breakfast got our cereals orange juice sat down and proceeded to eat my cornflakes. meanwhile i think the waitress (the daughter) i think was coming in with our tea and coffee so far so good...then..... proceeded to place my breakfast in front of me while i was still eating my cereal! i said"can i finish my cereal first?" she said yes of course... but still left the breakfast there! this made me quite annoyed as i then felt you were on a conveyor belt :lets get rid quick? The breakfast was very nice to be fair and needless to say we finished up packed the car and came downstairs to give back the key as we couldent wait to go..My husband then tried to hand the key back to the lady owner who was quite flustered looking for a guest and never said goodbye or nothing.... i notice after reading on here people have said the owners are quite aloof and not very people orientated well i dont know... but i would NEVER stay here again as i felt quite that we were a incumberance she could have done without... oh and another thing if you like to be secure then this is the place cameras and locks everywhere(well you can never be too careful) Oh to show im fair there is car parking here which is rare in blackpool,,,, and its quite near the pleasure beach .... just make sure your,e fit for the stairs !!!!!
