“DISSAPOINTING”
Reviewed October 23, 2013

Stayed here with my husband and daughter for two days before heading to Moffat. Staff are not helpful, the rooms very basic and not very clean, the bathroom alot to be desired, the noise from children running up and down in the corridors and the noise from above -couldnt get a good nights sleep. The noise outside with deliveries and mess everywhere at the bins outside our window, the breakfasting area alot to be desired- poor quality and nothing left, not worth the money, having to pay parking charges, the only good thing about the Travelodge is the Location- nicer hotels in the area. It looks nice on the outside and it looks and sounds good on the internet ; SO WRONG!!!!!!!!!

We've stayed here several times and there have been some improvements in the rooms since our last visit at Easter. You no longer have to cling onto the side of the mattress to stop you from rolling into the middle now they have new beds and there are 2 large fluffy pillows instead of a flat old one and decent curtains instead of a tatty old blind that lets the light through.
We were concerned with the ground floor room we were allocated - its the one on the corner that everyone walks past and stares into when you take the shortcut to the hotel entrance over the fence (as we have done lots of times) - however there was no problem with any noise at night, only at 7.20am by the bottles being collected by the binman.
The staff are excellent and helpful and breakfast was good - the chaos and queue started at 9am instead of an early 8.15am during the previous months. The hotel is in a great location for seeing the sights.
We would definitely stay here again - just 2 points that they do something about the damp smelling carpet on the ground floor corridor and improve the ladies public toilet as it needed a good fettle!

Stayed here for cheap hotel room when visiting Blackpool to see the illuminations, staff were excellent from check in to check out, couldn't be faulted, very easy to find and within walking distance of the town centre and the promenade.

The breakfast as with every travelodge I'v stayed in was excellent

Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone looking to stay in Blackpool
