Stayed for a week in October. This is a very well appointed cosy cottage. I imagine recently refurbished to a very high standard. Fresh flowers when we arrived gives you the idea that the owners really care.
You do have to be a little bit of a mountain goat and the sump on the car could take a bit of a bashing on the drive so take care.
Easy stroll into Windermere and down to the lakeside.
One tip bring a torch with you as Birhwaite Road has no street lights and its very dark in October!
