Great service, nice surroundings and blooming good food at a great price. Tandoori king prawns to die for! We ate on Saturday night and were stuffed to bursting point after 2 courses. Thoroughly recommended

Ordered a takeaway and only took 15 minutes to prepare , staff were very nice and chatted to my children . Food was fairly good I had chicken tikka and the meat did have a slight toughness but sauce was lovely , kids had korma and very happy . It had just opened when we went in and had a few takewaways ordered and an Indian couple came in for a meal which I thought was a good sign.!!
Still had christmas decorations up ?

We have dined here a few times and each time it's been different......

First time we ordered drinks which tuned up after 20 minutes, then were ignored for another 20 so walked out without paying.

Second time we were the only people there! My fella ordered japatis which they don't do but said they would attempt! Bringing 3 separate attempts we admired their eagerness to please...until they charged us for them!

Third time was less eventful.

The food is OK - not amazing (I am a big curry fan) but by no means is it awful either. Dishes seem to be a bit "samey". If there were more alternatives around we probably wouldn't keep going back but when it's late on and you've had a few beers it always seems like a good idea!

Bit too greasy but the flavour was there. It was okay but nothing special. Attentive and friendly staff.

Very friendly staff. It is a bit off putting having to go up uninviting metal stairs, and it could do with a revamp. But the food is worth it. Typical Bangladeshi cuisine ie. very good on the fish dishes. The classics like Rogan Josh,Jalfrezi and Biryani are very well done. The sister restaurant (Indian Ocean - which shuts for the winter) is probably the better of the two but charges a little more. Definately dine again in both establishments.
