Have visited Mojos on a couple of occasions and this was our third visit and it just gets better.
The food is wonderful and can not fault it or the service we get. We both had steak and it was cooked perfectly. A lovely little bistro and well worth the visit we shall be back.

“This place has lost its Mojo!”
Reviewed November 3, 2012

Went for dinner with my wife after reading the TA reviews and guys we have let ourselves down by giving this place decent reviews.

We wanted to go for dinner at 7.30 and were asked to come at 7.15 as they were busy,we got there and were greeted by a four people walking out looking glum. In hindsight maybe we should have turned around at this point. The Bistro was empty apart from two other tables, but despite this we were put at a table beside the stairwell to the toilet!

The waitress came to our table and "switched on" the fake candle at our table and I now knew we had been transported back to the 1970's. Surely a real candle would have added some warmth, I have heard you can buy 100 tea lights at Ikea for £5 these days!

When my wife was asked what the Westmoreland broth was, there was a reply of "beef stew int it!" nice description from the waiter who evidently hated his job and spent most of the evening talking to a couple on one of the other tables.

The food was ok and was decent value which is why I didnt give them the lowest score, the lamb dish being the best. My pork loin was overcooked and tough.

We decided to cheer ourselves up by ordering sticky toffee pudding, but again the waiter seemed more intent on complaining about the new Costa Coffee in Windermere than serving his customers. 15 mins later we just asked for the bill and it really felt that they didnt care about us at all.

In conclusion, bad service, poor decor and average food and if you visit Windermere do NOT go to Mojo's,I doubt it ever had a Mojo!

The name might not draw you but the ambience and food were wonderful. Not pricey but melt in the mouth steak and the vegetables were so fresh and interesting. Would definitely go back!

Went here to celebrate my husband's 50th Birthday after reading the reviews. We were warmly greeted and extremely well looked after. The service, food, Cava and staff were amazing. Even the little touch like the candle in the pudding was a surprise. Thanks for making our night special. Would highly recommend eating here.
