“A gem in Penrith”
Reviewed August 29, 2014

What an excellent restaurant with welcoming and attentiive staff a a really tasty choice of food. There was seven of us and all really enjoyed their food. The choice of 'specials' was excellent and imaginative. A real gem in Penrith.

“Lunch at the Country Coffee Shop”
Reviewed August 27, 2014

We found this charming little place while wandering round Penrith looking for somewhere to have lunch on Friday 22nd August. It did not disappoint. Despite a rush on at lunchtime we were advised of the delay and how long we would wait. Great interpersonal Skills - other establishments take note!
Lunch was highly satisfactory and amazingly good value. We will certainly return.

“It would leave Sidwell and Hollywood speechless !”
Reviewed August 16, 2014

Yes HOMEMADE BREAD to die for ! We regularly eat here and I do not know why I have not yet reviewed . I have never had a poor anything at this coffee shop ! The coffee is good but the lunch menu is super always 3/4 imaginative specials. The soups are beautiful. The cakes are just like granny makes and so yummy . I bake myself so got high standards and often wont have a scone in a tea/coffee shop but I do here ! Service always good and seating upstairs plentiful. A very handy place if you are shopping in Sainsburys. Well done !
