“A little gem”
Reviewed July 29, 2014

Very nice pub with quite a large beer garden out the back leading down to the river. Haven't tried the food so I can't comment on that but it looked good as people were being served.

“Great pub grub in an ideal family oriented location.”
Reviewed July 26, 2014

4 friends had lunch here on a hot July Saturday. We all had burger and excellent chips in the garden beside the water, however, I have to admit each couple had one portion between them as they were huge! Families were in the water and there was a great holiday atmosphere. To be recommended,we have done so to local families we know. Plenty friendly staff too.

“Everything you could want from a pub!”
Reviewed July 23, 2014

Visited The Crown at Pooley Bridge following a recommendation, and we were not disappointed, great location on the river, sitting outside in the sun, lovely reasonably priced food, great and pleasant service, what a wonderful way to spend an afternoon.

“Lovely lunch, lovely setting, lovely pub!”
Reviewed July 23, 2014 via mobile

After staying for four days in Pooley Bridge we decided to check this place out as it always looked busy in the beer garden which led down to the water. The setting is great, and there were children and familes playing in the water which was nice to see. We decided to have our lunch here, three of us had ciabattas with different fillings and one had the fish and chips. The fish was huge! We were very impressed with the service, value for money and just how nice the food was! Would definately visit again next time we are there!

Every member of staff where very helpful and happy. We ate here on Saturday night the manager got us a table straight away and was very helpful when ordering food.
