Whilst on holiday in the area we found this delightful little restaurant via Trip Advisor. Although parking was difficult, it was worth the hassle, the service was very friendly and the food very good, all cooked fresh and very reasonably priced. It is well worth a visit if you like Thai Food either as an eat in or take away.

“Great Little Restaurant”
Reviewed May 26, 2013

Such a little treasure in the middle of Penrith. They say good things come in small packages and they certainly do in this lovely little restaurant. Just six tables so it would probably be best to book at weekends, but we went mid week and had no trouble. The service, food and whole experience was excellent. We shall be back when we are in the area again.

“A little gem warming the heart of Penrith”
Reviewed May 23, 2013 via mobile

Discovered this gem of a eatery just over a year ago shortly after it opened, the food brought back wonderful memories of Thailand, the sights, the smells, the flavours! so It's a must I pop in at least once a week for a tom yam soup & a main dish, Jungle, Green, Red & Penang are my favourite. In Thailand they enjoy chillie heat, if you ask for spicy it will be HOT, the soups as well but don't worry they cater for those not used to those jungle chillies just let them know when ordering. Never tried Thai food before then this is the place to go, rice or noodles, a tasty melange of lemongrass, coriander, galangal, coconut, Thai basil, fish sauce, chillie & lime along with finely cut green beans, baby sweet corn, asparagus a taste explosion waiting to be discovered. Comfortable American style diner style seating, clean, quick service, you can see through to the kitchen & watch food being freshly prepared which is always a good sign, friendly family run business. Local to Penrith or passing through this place is well worth a visit, the best Thai food I've had since Thailand.

“Small but Fantastic Thai Food”
Reviewed May 23, 2013

8 of us went in for a business meal in the evening at 8.30pm. The booths are a bit small and cosy but the service and food was as good as any Thai restaurant I have ever been in. Hard to find but its at the back of the devonshire arcade which is next to George hotel.

“Great noodles”
Reviewed May 18, 2013

Small restaurant and takeaway at the rear of the Devonshire Arcade (go round the back in the evening when the arcade is shut). Very clean and friendly. Booth style tables could be off-putting but the service is good and you can see right into he kitchen from the restaurant. The Pad Thai Pak (stir fried rice noodles with eggs, bean sprouts, spring onions, chives, carrots and baby corn) was excellent. Medium spiced soup as about as hot as I can take but very tasty (I like spicy food), so maybe go for mild if you don't want too much of a burn. King Prawns were very fresh and large. House red (merlot) at £10.95 was fine for the price.
