I had lunch there recently with my parents and daughter. Lots of lovely home made food on the menu. I had the steak/mushroom/red wine pie which was delicious. My parents took advantage of the pensioners special which was 2 courses for £7.95. This was an absolute bargain. The food portions are good and we all commented on the lovely food. My daughter ordered the sticky toffee pudding. The portion size was so big and she struggled to eat it all. I did have a taste and it was delicious. You could clearly taste the treacle.
The pub is very quaint and a typical village pub. The bar staff and waitresses were friendly and efficient. Nothing seemed too much trouble..
