We went as it had been recommended by the B & B we were staying in. The restaurant is very small we were seated next to the reception area which meant people constantly calling in for their take away service. There were two young waiter/waitress who were very pleasant and helpful. We ordered the summer banquet the crispy seaweed was lovely as was the crispy duck the main course was average served with egg fried rice it was a costly meal out and was average. I wouldn't rate it as one of the best Chinese I have eaten in and would not choose to eat there again.

Was recommended to eat here by the owners of the b&b we were staying in . The surroundings were very basic but the staff gave us a warm welcome and were very attentive . We opted for one of the banquets (with a few changes ) and on the whole the food was very good , although the crispy duck was quite fatty . We had a long leisurely and enjoyable meal . The place is quite hard to find though and without good directions we may not have found it . Not the best chinese i have had but on the whole very enjoyable

This place was amazing ,Eugene was the best waiter I have ever had, he was so friendly and personally got to know everyone in our party. We went for a birthday so had made a booking and when we got there they had put a birthday banner and balloons which was a great surprise. We ordered the winter banquet- we only ordered 3 for a party of 4 and we still ended up taking some home. The food we did eat was delicious and when your there order the prawn toasts because they are amazing. It was a great environment and we thoughroughly enjoyed it! I would highly recommend you go here and would rate it 100/10!

This place was a gem of a find and one we would not have found out about had my partner not recently sold one of his cars to one of their employees! It is situated down a little alleyway into a courtyard. From Market Street it is literally a blue door/ archway and if you blinked youd miss it (and boy youd be missing out!)

The restaurant is tiny. Theres about 5 tables downstairs and the same upstairs. The service we received from Eugene was exceptional. Nothing was too much trouble and his recommendations were spot on. We started withthe Crispy Aromatic Duck, which can be so hit and miss. Ours had crispy skin and tender meat which was falling apart. The accompanying spring onion and cucumber were fresh and crisp. I think I could have eaten a whole duck. Our chosen main courses were Roast Pork with Mushrooms and King Prawns with Chilli and Garlic. All served with fluffy Egg Fried Rice. The flavours in both were awesome The chilli in the prawns was just enough to have a kick but wont blow your head off!

Tips for you -try the Chinese beer they have there. Its light and goes well with the flavours youre about to eat! Ask to try some of their chilli oil for dipping your prawn crackers in. Be warned though it is a bit hot. My partner devoured a lot of it and still wanted more!

Im not sure how im going to back tomy local Chinese as its not quite as good. I guess we'll have to head back up to Penrith soon!
