This was the first time we booked through Tripadvisor. For sure it will not be the last it the properties are of this standard. We did take a look at the property photos on the site but when we arrived the property was by far better than what we thought it would be. The owner was really helpful sending all the relative information before so that when we got there we did not have any problems to settle down. I surely recommend this property if you are staying in the area.
What a lovely place to stay for Christmas! Tim had put up a real Christmas tree and some decorations, so the place felt really cosy and Christmassy despite the large space. We loved everything about the accommodation - the living room was great and we enjoyed having a real fire whilst watching DVDs or the TV. The main bedroom is stunning - particularly the stained glass window above the bed. We cooked several meals in the well equipped kitchen, including a full Christmas dinner, and the only thing we couldnt find was an oven glove but I bet there was one somewhere we didnt look, because there was absolutely everything else we needed. We really did not want to leave the stunning views from the house but I think a summer visit would be even more lovely as one could then sit in the garden which looked lovely.
This place exceeded our expectations to say the least. The pictures don't do it justice! It was a huge, cozy, home away from home feel. The views were unbelievable no matter the weather condition and believe me we had It all rain, snow, hail stone, sleet, and sun! Was gorgeous. The gardens were like spmething out of the 'Secret Garden.' We hope to come back to this place one day cause even after 11 nights we didn't want to leave. The owner was so great at communicating and answering any questions we had. Thanks Tim for everything. X X
The apartment itself is gorgeous and very spacious. The kitchen is large and has great views as it is in the conservatory. The living room is very, very nice with big windows and a fireplace. The bedroom is great too, with a very comfortable bed. But the views make it even more special. Keswick, which is close, is a lovely town, and there whole area is gorgeous.
My son & I really enjoyed our week's holiday at the very spacious & well kitted out Conservatory. The range of mountain views were a pleasure to behold from the two large high windows in the lounge. It was lovely to be able to walk round the surrounding gardens that were kept immaculate. We hope we shall have the pleasure of returning next year.
