We stayed at West View for two nights, and from the friendly welcome on the Friday to leaving on the Sunday, had an excellent stay.
Although our bedroom was smallish, the extremely comfortable bed and superb view from the window compensated a hundred times over-could have looked at it for hours! The large guest lounge with TV,Video etc and the large and varied selection of books was a real bonus.
Plenty of choice at breakfast -fruit,cereal,full English(set me up for the day) or choose any combination of cooked items from the menu-nice touch regarding food was the list of eating places in Keswick for lunch and evening meals.
All-in-all a very clean, comfortable and pleasant B and B-convenient for town and lake-very good value and we will stay there again on our next theatre trip.
Thank You!

This was a great place to stay! The owner was very friendly and helpful. She has maps of the walking trails in the area. The food was excellent. She served a lot of food for Breakfast.

The B&B is in Keswick, and about a block from the lake. Everything is close.

My wife enjoyed the common room. One day it was raining and she stayed and read, while I went out for a walk. They have a wonderful library of books on local artist, hiking, history, etc.

The town is pretty and easy to get around.

Very friendly owner run B&B. Great common lounge. If you stay in Keswick try the Packhorse Inn if you want a great pub dinner with good service. Small bedroom but very clean and good quality with great view over the golf course. Great breakfast to order in a lovely room. Just a walk around the corner to the pedestrian zone of Keswick town centre to all the shops and restaurants. Super close to the Derwent Water (lake) to walk around or take a boat. We used Rick Steves Travel Guide to get this good place and followed his advise on day trips and food.
