After our 3 mile walk we went on the launch around Derwent Water which was very relaxing and the views were stunning.

Gorgeous weather, beautiful scenery and lots of people relaxing around the lake. Had a cold drink sat on the terrace at Mary Mount Hotel and a coffee and ice cream at Nicol End Marina. All in the sunshine

It is one of my favourite lakes to visit. It seems so much more peaceful and relaxing than Coniston Lake. I could visit this Lake again and never get bored.

Unusually good weather made the lake as picturesque as ever, whether viewed from Walla Crag or Friars Crag. Perfect all week.
