As always, this was an excellent comfortable stay at Cherry Trees. Weather was lovely and we had lots of walks, made better by the marvelous ample, well cooked breakfasts. Margaret and Jim are great hosts and nothing is too much trouble for them. The room was great, beds comfortable and towels changed on a regular basis.
I have previously stayed in many B & Bs in Keswick and Cherry Trees is by far the best. For many years now we have chosen Cherry Trees as our place to stay and would move holiday dates to fit in with available vacancies there. Thoroughly recommended.

We stayed at the Cherry Trees in Keswick for two nights at the end of March (the glorious last week with sunshine and unseasonable warmth!!). We enjoyed a very comfortable stay, with the room adequate for our needs for a short period. The bathroom was very small, with a shower cubicle squeezed in but as I say, it was fine for our short stay. The rooms have contemporary decor, but the rest of the property is a little more quaint with lots of personal touches (family photos and pictures from holidays) reflecting the owners' (Margaret and Jim) style and life together.

Breakfast was served downstairs and we were lucky enough to be sat in the bay window overlooking the street. Standard fare from the continental items available (cereals, fruit and yogurts), with a cooked breakfast to follow. The cooked breakfast was served very promptly and was very tasty, with a nice plate full of food but not too much for first thing in the morning. Toast was served with the cooked breakfast and hot coffee and tea were available.

The thing that struck me most about the Cherry Trees was the value for money - we booked through laterooms so got a discounted rate compared to the advertised prices. Having stayed in Windermere/Ambleside before and had to pay considerably more, we were glad to have chosen Keswick this time for our trip to the Lakes which didn't break the bank!

Room Tip: We stayed in Room 5 on the second floor - cute little dormer window overlooking Esking Road.

I seldom do reviews and this will be my second on TripAdvisor. I have been visiting Keswick for many years, and stayed in a number of guesthouses over the years. Few have really made you feel at home or provide a compelling reason to return.

Margaret and Jim deserve this mention. We booked at Cherry Trees in November 2011 and more recently returned in in February 2012. Margaret and Jim have been so welcoming and accommodating towards our travel plans each time.

Cherry Trees is centrally located and just a short walk away from the centre of Keswick. There is ample off road parking, but like all busy places, demand for places inevitably increases during the high season.

We stayed in Room 2 on both occasions and is a comfortable family room. The en suite room is spacious and airy, and will serve most people's accommodation needs. There is good WiFi connectivity throughout the B&B.

The breakfast selection provided by Margaret is superb and hearty and you will not be disappointed. We realised that Margaret does surprise you with breakfast specials and this time we were spoilt with a berry granola topped with yoghurt.

It is refreshing to see owners take pride of their business without compromising high levels of service; but equally willing to differentiate themselves from the norm.

On the whole this B&B should not be overlooked. Margaret and Jim effortlessly ensure that you make the most of your visit a pleasant one whether its your first time or as returning guest to Keswick and the Lakelands.

Super little bnb - excellent location for both the town and the annual Keswick Convention. Great hosts, lovely breakfasts (not a bit greasy) and very nice bathroom toiletries too!
Highly recommended.

Our latest in a long line of visits to Cherry Trees was as enjoyable as all the rest. We always have the same room which is clean, comfortable, well equipped and is regularly decorated (yes we have been coming here for ages). Jim and Margaret always make us feel welcome and have now bocome fiends of the family. The breakfasts are hearty and well cooked and served in a friendly manner. It is only a short walk to the centre of Keswick but Eskin Street is quiet and you always get a good nights sleep there. We would never stay at another b&b in Keswick and in fact since we started coming our son and his wife and our nephew and his family have stayed here.
I can thoroughly recommend this to anyone.

Stayed for two nights during a fell-walking break, Everything was excellent - we were made very welcome, the room was well-furnished, reasonably spacious and clean, and breakfast was good. The location was excellent - five minutes walk from the town centre.
