I have used keswick as a base for walking but never really spent much time exploring the town itself until my latest trip here.
Discovered the beautiful Crow Park, which leads from the centre of town through to the lakeside, on the way to the activities around the lakeshore 'village' created for the annual mountain festival.
It has some lovely flowers, looks well tended, and offers space for a gentle stroll and space for children and families to play.
There's crazy golf, putting and even a small pitch and putt course plus a cafe.
Very popular park and rightly so. A credit to the town.
