Saturday night dinner - the menu has a limited choice of starters and mains always a good sign as long as the menu gets changed frequently ! There is a good selection of draught beers which is unusual for a restaurant.
Food was good , interesting dishes without going too exotic and nicely presented. Don't expect huge helpings this is quality not quantity.
Deserts were probably the highlight - again small selection of really home-made deserts unlike anything you will find in Keswick.
Nice atmosphere and good to see the place fill up after the food ended with locals/theatre staff.
It is not a cheap place to eat especially for a bar/restaurant , the fixed price menu across the road will be cheaper, but will be returning and a welcome addition to the top-end dining places in Keswick.
Have not yet tried the lunch or early dining dining options.
