It was a bit of a struggle to find a space to park our car but once you do, it's a pleasant walk all the way. It seemed there were many points to start the walk as I saw people coming from different ways. I would recommend that you have proper mountain shoes; it can be quite rocky at a few places on the way to the top.

You need a reasonable level of fitness to do this but the great views reward the effort. If you are really keen you can carry on to maiden moor etc.

What a great hike, up to about 1000 ft., with great views of the lake. It is a steep path most of the way, a little rock climbing at the end, but soooo worth it for the views!
