We did Catbells twice, in successive weekends. An energetic walk with great views, achievable by even the non-athletic.
Some advice on the descent. The first time we continued over the summit and took a left path at the dip (where the path rises to the next peak). This is a sharp descent with much of the return journey along the road, and made for a tedious and unenjoyable walk back. The second time we simply turned around and retraced our steps back to the car ... and I would very definitly recommend this option.
