“Well worth the effort”
Reviewed April 3, 2012

Cat Bells is certainly not for the pushchair brigade but allows access to a fell and brilliant views without too much hassle.

“Beautiful Scenery”
Reviewed March 31, 2012

The walk aroud the lake was my favourite. Although it's about 10 miles long, it's mainly flat. My husband preferred going up to the summit of Catbells or the views.

“What a view!”
Reviewed March 31, 2012

It's not as straightforward as you might think, but the few feet of scrambling at the top are really worth it for the view. If you don't fancy going back down the rocky bit, just walk on to the hause and wander down one of the other paths!

“Superb views”
Reviewed March 29, 2012

A strenuous walk/climb, not for the faint hearted. Make sure you are well prepared for the conditions. Strong footwear is a must!

“For first time walkers to Keswick”
Reviewed March 27, 2012

For first time walkers to Keswick, Catbells was a must. We were over ambitious and carried onto Maiden Moor and High Spy and paid the price. We were exhausted, but throughly enjoyed the walk. The views are amazing.
