My husband and I visit Keswick at least four times a year and our first port of call for refreshment is unfailingly Treeby and Bolton's cafe. The staff are great and always welcoming, considering how busy this venue is, particularly in school holidays. The suki tea is without comparison, and the home made lemon meringue is 'to die for'! - real lemons and a huge whipped meringue. We partake of a luscious delicacy most days during our visit and it's usually a big decision as to what to choose from the wide array of cakes and scones. I would highly recommend the chickpea curry for vegetarians - I am not normally a lover of 'English' curries but I found this to be perfect in every way. I will definitely be sampling this tasty meal on out next visit. The contemporary surroundings and comfortable seating make this cafe a venue not to be missed!!
