We stayed for four nights at the Grange, which is in a great location on the outskirts of Keswick and has easy access to the main road network. The staff were very friendly and our room was clean and comfortable and had great views. The breakfast was superb and had a good selection of fruit, cereals and hot dishes. I would recommend the Grange.

Just had 2 nights at The Grange which turned out to be excellent. Spotlessly clean, well run, warm welcome. Its in a quiet location on the edge of town. Hotels in the centre can be noisy. I'd say "Guest House" is better description than B + B. they do have a license and will bring drinks to a lounge or sunny terrace although there's no formal bar. We booked the day of travel and got the last room in the house. We were told it was the smallest so when we got there we didnt mind. It was still adequate; ensuite, lcd tv & most important a cumfy bed. We saw into a couple of other rooms when we were leaving and they were spacious. Breakfast was faultless, full cumbrian includes locally produced bacon, sausages and black pudding. Thanks heavens the best activity in the Lakes is walking!

The Grange gave us a warm welcome. The room i stayed in had beautiful views and was very comfortable. The breakfast was second to none and the view from the breakfast room is spectacular, especially when the sun was shining. It was a 10 minute walk into the town centre.

We spent a very enjoyable 3 nights in this delightful and exceptionally clean and welcoming country house. The staff were an absolute delight and the breakfasts great. No hesitation in recommending to others. The little extras in the rooms made all the difference. Only 10 minues walk into the centre of Keswick which was very pleasant on a nice evening watching the sun slip down over the mountains.
