went to the restaurant which was very busy were given a table by a very friendly and efficient waitress. Had the mixed mezze style starter which had olives covered in a sauce. they were fantastic! We spoke to the waitress who spoke to the chef. He was from Iran and he gave my wife and I the recipe for the sauce. He was a wonderful man who came from the kitchen to speak to us and spent some time sat with us. We had a great night and two fabulous steaks cooked exactly as we wanted. We have been before and will definitely we going again when in Keswick.

We visited this restaurant two nights in a row, which doesn't always work, but were delighted with all the food we ate. Steak, pizza, chicken kebab and gammon were all well cooked and good portions. Best pizza I've eaten in a long time. Service was also good - we hadn't booked on either night - and staff all seemed to be working well as a team.

After being turned away from three other restaurants because they were full, we arrived here to be told we could have a table but they needed it again by 8pm. As it was just after 6.30 and we had to be at the theatre by 8, this was fine.

We had two pizzas between three of us and both were superb. Mine, a margherita with added ham, was crisp and tasty with a rich tomato sauce and as close to a real italian pizza as I've ever had at home. I'm surprised to read some of the other reviews criticising the staff as they were very attentive, polite, friendly and reasonably swift given that it was a saturday night and the place was busy. One of them addressed us as "youse" which sounds a bit rough but hey, if that's the only negative, I can live with it.

We finished off with coffee and, after asking for the bill so we could leave around 7.40 to have a leisurely walk round to the the theatre, it arrived and we paid and left... a tip.

We'll definitely be back!

This is a great place to eat after a days hike. The Pizzas are really tasty, bases thin and crispy and lots of toppings to choose from. I went for the BBQ supreme which was absolutely jam packed with toppings. Hubby went for the T Rex which is a meat lovers delight. Everything freshly made and super tasty. The service was great too, very attentive, warm and friendly staff. Will definitely visit again when in the area.

We we're put off by a previous visit a few months ago, when we were spoken to very rudely when we enquired about a table, so immediately left without eating.
Decided to give the place another chance after a recommendation from a friend, and wished we hadn't had bothered.
We were served by unexperienced, slow yet friendly staff. We ordered, and after 50 minutes there was no sign of our food. when we enquired where it was, we were told the order hadn't been given to the kitchen and our food would be with us as soon as possible. We asked for complimentary drinks whilst we waited which were not offered. Pizzas were nice and nothing to complain about (garlic bread was best we've had in ages), but were definitely not worth the wait.
We decided to skip deserts and ordered elsewhere. When we asked for the bill we we're given the wrong one, another careless mistake.
An ok meal which was value for money, but not worth the wait. Would recommend a takeout instead!
