Stayed here for one night on our trip back from Scotland but could have easily stayed for the week. The location is stunning so dont forget your camera. The cottage style room was really cosey and well equipped with all you need. Rob and Sarah are the perfect hosts and the food is first class especially the beef cooked to perfection. Would highly recommend this B& B and will return someday.

My husband and I stayed at Littletown Farm on our honeymoon in the UK and were so glad we chose this as our base in the Lake District. As reviews have mentioned, this farm is in full operation, as is the farm's kitchen with Rob and Sarah producing delicious food all day for passing hikers and local folks. Sarah's cooking is fantastic, perhaps the best we had during our whole trip. Beyond the full English breakfast, which was great, we also enjoyed homemade scones, great salads, and on our second night, enjoyed Sarah's steak and salmon dinner. They use all locally sourced ingredients and it showed! The location is great for walks in the Newlands Valley - you can take public footpaths up to Catbells that start literally across the tiny country road from the farm. Though there's no TV in the room, I enjoyed the warmth of the shared sitting room. Watching Prince George's exit from the hospital on TV with the other families staying was so much fun. Just a great atmosphere at Littletown Farm!

I don't know how could this place have 5-star rating.
Room is very small, you won't find place to put your bag.
Bathroom is even smaller. you'll be short of shampoo and shower gel.
Room was a little bit smelly.
Wifi is ok.
Breakfast is ok.
TV is not in the room.

Avoid this place.

Littletown farm is a working farm, and B&B, run by the wonderful, and friendly Rob and Sarah. The location is amazing, a short drive from Keswick, and situated right next to one of the nicest walks we went on, Catbells. The B&B is warm, welcoming, the rooms are on the small side, but spotless, modern, and with everything you need! Breakfast is served up by Rob, portions are massive, food is brilliant, Sarah is a wonderful cook, and there's plenty of variety. They even served us dinner one of the nights which was outstanding. It's a lovely place to base your trip in the Lake District, I went with family for a week away, and it was absolutely perfect, both in terms of price and value and the sheer experience.

Just got home from a weekend break staying at Littletown Farm B & B and wanted to recommend this perfect place straight away. As already mentioned, Rob and Sarah are lovely people and have created a very relaxed atmosphere for their guests. Nothing was too much trouble and Rob sourced a taxi for us on Saturday night which turned up on time and the taxi driver was a real character! The rooms are freshly renovated and the bathroom was spotless. The breakfast was excellent (full English) with as much coffee or tea that you needed. We wanted to have our nights in Keswick centre as we were only there for the weekend but do feel that we missed out by not eating our evening meal at the B & B as Sarah's cooking appeared to be famous locally and the smell was delicious both evenings. The location is fabulous for walkers and mountain bikers as you are straight out of the door onto the Catbells and the Newlands Valley. I can't wait to go back and as a female who often goes away on her own for walking weekends, this will be my first choice when I am in the area as it is safe, friendly, family orientated and there is a single room with an unattached private bathroom for a very reasonable rate.

Room Tip: All rooms are beautifully done.

Just stayed for one night at Littletown Farm and thoroughly enjoyed it! I am a chef by trade, and the food here was out of this world! My little girl played with Rory and other children in the garden, while the grown ups had a drink and relaxed. First class bedrooms and ambience, would definitely go back again. Great for families --- the Davis family
