Our third trip to the Edwardene, and I'm pleased to report that the standards there are as high as ever! This time we were with our brother and sister-in-law and their two children, so made more use of the lounge to get together. This also meant that I got to see one of the family rooms, which was a really good size with a day bed for one of the children that could be used as a settee in the day, and another child's bed as well as the double for mum and dad. We stayed in Heather again, a double room which isn't terribly spacious, but is beautifully decorated has a lovely ensuite bathroom with a good deep bath.

The Edwardene continues to serve a beautiful breakfast, which comes in two sizes so that you needn't be too stuffed if you're planning a leisurely day, but can really fill up if you're planning a heavy day of walking.

We will definitely continue to stay at the Edwardene when in Keswick!

This is the third time I have stopped here now and the edwardene makes our trip to keswick so much better. Russell and Marie could not make you feel more welcome. The Rome are clean and very comfortable and have excellent views. Th location it excellent. Round the corner from the Main Street and 10 minute to the lake. What ever we wanted to do Russell and Marie were more than happy to help us. Then there's the breakfast what can I say apart from when climbing catbells it was well needed, breakfast was amazing, kept you going all day. Best place I've stopped in the uk and can't wait to go back. Thanks Russell and Marie from Ian and Michelle hope to see you soon!

Just had a short stay at the Edwardene which was fantastic, our room was spotless, beautifully decorated & the bed was extremely comfortable.Russell kindly gave us his parking space when we arrived which was lovely, they are both excellent hosts and nothing is to much trouble.
Our breakfast was wonderful with excellent ingredients, the whole atmosphere is very relaxing and we would have no hesitation in recommending the Edwardene to our friends.
Thanks again Russell & Marie we will be back.

Just returned from a 3 day 2 night stay. Place was very very clean and everything functioned well. Bed was a little soft for my liking but that's due to my bad back than a "fault" of the place in anyway. Breakfast was simply delicious and we would definitely return.

The Edwardene is possibly the best place I have stayed in Keswick. It was kept spotlessly clean, was most welcoming and complemented with an excellent breakfast. I would have no doubt in staying there again on my next visit to Keswick.

Just had another fantastic five nights at The Edwardene. The welcome is, as ever, genuine and warm. Four days walking in some very extreme conditions so to open the front door and fnd that there was someone there to whisk your gear off to dry out was a lovely touch. The rooms are very clean and tidy and breakfast is a pleasure every morning - nothing is to much trouble. The lounge is a great place I've found this year to stretch out. In summary it's like being at home when you are away, so looking forward to going again next year.

Room Tip: All rooms are great, the ones some of the ones at the back have views of the fells, but check out th...

I've stayed at The Edwardene several times now and on each occasion have found the standard of the accommodation and the quality of the breakfast to be second to none. You're made to feel welcome from the moment you arrive, and whether your flask needs filling before you head out, or your boots need drying when you get back, nothing is too much trouble. I look forward to many more stays at The Edwardene in the near future.
