Popped in for a quick lunch however had to wait quite a while others who came in after us got served with their food before us.Service was ok but not very friendly. When I paid I was not given a cash till receipt so that I could check my bill, when I questioned this I was immediately given another price quite a bit lower that the first.I had already worked out what my bill should have been just as well .I was given no apology just some vague excuse.I also heard another couple discussing the same thing they too were being overcharged.

We called in on a busy day but the staff were very polite and the service was quick. Wonderful lunch and at no time did we feel rushed. Would go again when we next visit

I visit this coffee house whenever I go to Keswick - excellent breakfasts , toasted sandwiches and cakes. They are very busy at times but always extremely polite and efficient.
I notice some reviews complain about the notices on the larger tables but it is a business after all and I have always found enough tables for one/two people available without having to use the larger ones.

we've been visiting Keswick for 12 years and we've been popping for a cream scone for the same length of time. The food is excellent, the staff are very pleasant, welcoming and friendly. The service is exemplary and I'd recommend The Wild Strawberry to anyone visiting the Lake District. Gerry and Ani (pink hair) McNeice

The staff here are so friendly, you get a real Cumbrian welcome at the Wild Strawberry. I was very satisfied with the lunch I ordered, I only had an hour on my lunch break from work and I was served quickly
