This was a very busy restaurant/coffee shop. When we initially arrived the upstairs room looked as though it was closed but we were shown upstairs where there were already people sitting at tables - so a little confused at that.
We ordered our drinks and cakes and unfortunately waited quite a while for them to be brought, but when they arrived they were very nice.
Good choice of drinks and reasonable choice of cakes. Upstairs was nicely decorated and had plenty of room, some areas having comfy sofas and chairs. Downstairs was a little crowded. Staff were friendly, but on leaving the till wasn't working so we were unable to get a receipt.

We popped in for a hot choc. You can choose various flaovors of hot choc, we had coconut and ginger. Lovely.

Clean & tidy, fast table service.

They have a note on the table saying "this table is for groups of 3 or more", which is a great idea, pubs should use this too. As no doubt you have been to a pub to get a meal and 2 people have sat at a table having a drink only, very annoying when there is 4 of you wanting to eat AND drink!

On arriving here we noticed that there were a lot of girls waitressing and really needed to get a grip with the service. I feel that they were preferring to chat to each other instead of serving and when I went to pay they were distinctly aloof.

However, the food was delicious, I had a ham salad, the ham was off the bone and tasted delicious, there was a varied salad and plenty of it, and the pot of tea was lovely.

Despite the slowness of the young girls I would definitely visit here again.
