The Beeches Guest House is certainly up there as a recommended stay. It has been beautifully and extensively restored with period features retained. The hallway is particularly lovely and the rooms we used were spotlessly clean. Our room was decorated in soft neutral tones, the bed was very comfortable and the large circular headed shower was powerful. All in all, it made for a very peaceful and pleasant place to return, after our walks or shopping trips.
The breakfast selection was varied, plentiful and very tasty. There are allocated parking spaces at the front of the property. Although not in the centre of Keswick, it only took us 15-20 minutes to walk to the main shopping area and restaurants.
Brian & Irene made us feel very welcome and if we were to return to Keswick, involving an overnight stay, The Beeches certainly would be a lovely place to return to.
