We went to Luca's on the recommendation of our B&B, and weren't disappointed. The food was great and out of this and Casa Bella, the other good Italian in Keswick we went to, we preferred this for food quality. Service was good, though as we ate early we were pretty much on our own. The restaurant is hidden away from the town centre, but is right opposite the Pencil Musuem, so definitely worth it if you're going there, and plenty worth the short walk from the centre itself.

You need to book in advance to be sure of a table at Luca's. We turned up on spec twice and the place was full. 3rd time round we booked a table for eight and secured a place.

The Italian food was excellent and we were all very satisfied with the service. There was plenty of room around tables. The mature staff were experienced and attentive. Cost wise we paid a little more for food than average - the cheapest bottle of red wine was £15.95.

I would recommend Luca's to friends and will definitely visit again, fully expecting to pay around £25-£35 for a 3 course meal, although a limited 3 course meal was available for £19.99.

We ate here on our last night in Keswick following a 5 night stay. What a shame we didn't come here every night - amazing food! Service was good, attentive and welcoming without being over-bearing. The starter of stuffed figs was heaven and the wild boar ragu was amazing. All washed down with a very pleasant and well priced Montepulciano. Yummy!

We booked a table for 4 which we were also using a £50 Gift Voucher - the Owner - Paul - had donated to a charity ball for diabetes - the food was excellent - my hubby had the £19.95 special 3 course which was unbelievable value for money, we all had starters and mains - desserts and coffees all of which were great - the service and ambience were lovely - we have been before and will definitely return

This is our favourite place to eat when we go to Keswick every year. The menu has so much lovely stuff on it and the food is always cooked and presented beautifully. The restaurant itself is lovely and staff very helpful.
