5 star everything here, the views are just amazing, the room was a good size, quiet, warm with a comfy bed. The birds are as well fed as we were and it was delightful to watch them as we ate in the restaurant. Both breakfast and evening meal are well cooked and good sized portions with lots of choice. Every single member of staff provided excellent service, we couldn't have asked for more and we will definitely be returning, thank you.

We booked a last minute trip after finding this little gem of a hotel online, it did not disappoint. We took along with us our 2 whippets who all of the staff adored and could not do enough for, even bringing them Cumberland sausages for breakfast! The room we stayed in was fantastic having a view of the lake and cat bells it’s self! Food and service was outstanding along with the price which we thought was very reasonable. It’s only a 5 minute drive into Keswick and has a bus route running right outside. There are many walks which can be done right from the hotel in such a beautiful area.
We look forward to seeing you again, it only took us an hour after arrive to book our return in a few month and hopefully fit another night in between.
Thanks again..

Returned again this New Years Eve and it was like a reunion Many guests returned from last year and staff remember you. A few changes to entrance and an extension makes it much easier for walkers dropping in for lunch or a drink. Very welcoming and better yet you feel like a valued guest in fact if returning which we were you are remembered Great place with stunning views and good walking area What could be better Full English breakfast on New Years Day (or any other time) watching finches, woodpeckers, pigeons and robins feeding just outside the window beside you

Room tip: All rooms we have stayed in had good views

We stayed on the three nights New Year package. This was our second New Year spent at Mary Mount and was absoloutely fantastic. Our dog friendly room was in the main hotel and wonderfully comfortable and spotlessly clean. The new dining/conservatory is an inspired addition. The food as always was superb and the choices very good. New Years evening five course meal was stunning and all served seamlessly, an amazing relaxing enjoyable evening. The whole visit was second to none and well worth the cost. Thank you to all the staff and Management.

Room tip: We stay in the dog friendly rooms. Our friends stay in the annexe rooms which are larger.

This hotel overlooks Derwentwater and you can walk directly to the jetty from the hotel grounds. It has homely feel, very friendly and professional staff and a good selection of food options, which is well prepared and reasonably priced. Our room was spacious with a lovely lake view and nicly appointed. The bar and lounge areas have a cosy feel and are well maintained and cleaned. Overall a very pleasant stay and we look forward to returning.
