We spent 2 nights at Easedale House. The room was spotless and very welcoming with chocolates on the bed. Excellent choice for breakfast including the fab smoked salmon and scrambled egg on a muffin-plenty of cereal, tea and coffee. Easedale itself is round the corner from the centre so a fantastic location. We have stayed with Danny and Bernie before at Windemere and they have brought there personal touches to Easedale. You couldn't ask for more.

Fab fab fab

Hi Gail Thanks so much for your review, you know how much we appreciate the effort. We've said it before and we'll say it again, the very best praise we can get is when guests return to stay with us. Even more so when it is a different B&B. It tells us that we must be doing something right, although we would never get complacent about it. we know we'll see you staying with us again, and we look forward to it

Many thanks

Danny and Bernie

We have just left after 5 nights at Easedale House. The room was gorgeous, very clean and comfortable, and was freshened up for us daily. One day we returned to home-made fairy cakes, which was a really sweet touch. Breakfast was amazing every day - a lovely selection of cereals and a little pot of fresh fruit, in addition to toast and your choice of cooked breakfast. The location is perfect for exploring the area or just heading to a bar or restaurant in Keswick. We'd definitely recommend staying here.

Hello and thanks for your review. We are so glad you think we are a great place to stay, and we do of course agree that we have an enviable position. Right next to the centre of this beautiful town, a short stroll to the most beautiful Lake in the Lake District, and so close to major roads you can be anywhere in the Lakes very quickly. We are glad we were able to make your stay so enjoyable, and we look forward to seeing you again here at Easedale House

Thanks again

Stayed here for 4 nights, walking in the hills during the day. An excellent stay, full english setting us up for the day in a good old fashioned way with coffee on tap and plenty of toast. Close to the town centre. Danny and Bernie provided a really good service, the whole experience was just value for money, beginning to end. Parking was sometimes a bit interesting...where do all the cars come from, even in the day!!! Shop around the corner was useful. Highly recommended.

Stayed at this B & B for 2 nights on 10th August. We arrived earlier than expected without a hope of our room being ready but to our surprise after a warm welcome from Danny we were shown to our room. We stayed in the family room which consists of a double bedroom with ensuite and a single room. It was very clean and comfortable. Nice little touches like a chocolate on the pillow and even facial cleansing wipes in the bathroom. Shower gel was also provided. Tea and coffee making facilities. The full cooked breakfast was amazing and we loved the fresh fruit/berries and yoghurt. On our second morning we had smoked salmon and scrambled eggs beautifully cooked by the lovely Bernie. We also were privileged to meet a delightful couple Claire & George. If you read this we were so blessed to have met you. You are a very special couple. BIG thank you Danny & Bernie. Kind regards Dorothy & Big George.

Spent two lovely nights in superior room 8 following a very friendly welcome from Danny and introduction to Bernie. Danny showed us the layout which included the guest sitting room, help yourself breakfast area and even carried my bag upstairs! A very clean, comfortable B&B with some nice extra touches - chocolates on the pillow and home made fairy cakes the following day to enjoy with tea afer a long walk - yum!. Will definately be back and maybe try the four poster. Gordon & Sandra

An excellent B an B in a prime location. Warm welcome from Danny and Bernie and excellent breakfasts. A top class place and very clean, with lovely little personal touches such as chocolates left on your pillow and home baked cake to go with your coffee. I couldn't find fault with the place if I tried. (well apart from the fact that Danny is a Sunderland supporter lol)

Room Tip: Go for the room with the four poster bed

We couldn't agree more "Why use hotels" indeed. The uniqueness of B&B's is that they offer a very personal service, something which hotels simply can't compare to. We are pleased that you appreciate the little extra touches that e put into everything, proving once again why B&B's are better than Hotels. And of course we are happy to let everyone know that we are so welcoming of ALL guests, even Newcastle fans!! ;-)
Thanks again

3 of us shared room 3, which was clean and comfortable, for a walking holiday in the Lake District. Very good value for money and Danny & Bernie looked after us well. Parking is very interesting throughout the area, so be prepared to spend time searching for a space! Definitely worth a return visit!

Thank you all for your positive review of your recent stay at Easedale House. we are glad you enjoyed your room and of course our delicious breakfasts, and importantly that you consider us to offer very good value for money. It is something we are very conscious of, and have recently decided to keep this years prices into 2013, despite the cost rises we have incurred on so many things, and believe we are among the most keenly price B&B's in Keswick.
Thanks again
