If you are looking for something 'slightly' different you must come here for afternoon tea. You can see the cows being milked whilst having afternoon tea. There is a lovely craft shop & also yummy things to buy such as cheese, yoghurt, cream, & lots of various goodies? Enjoy.

Lovely area for browsing and buying. Great choice of tasty snacks or meals and a view over the milking parlour - that's different! We'll certainly be back to sample more.
Downside for me was buying Tiffin from the shop to take home. It looked deliciously chocolatey on top, but when I opened it, the underside was a sea of broken rich tea biscuits and very little chocolate to hold it together!

We stopped off here on the way home from a week's stay in the Lakes. The farm shop is great, with lovely cheeses and artisan breads for sale. It's not cheap, but the quality is excellent.

We then had lunch in the cafe. We had a ploughman's lunch and a cumberland sausage roll. Both were great. The ploughman's was served with home-made chilli bread, and the sausage bap was served in a nice brusceta bread roll. The food looked and tasted like someone had taken a lot of care over it.

Low Sizergh is a great place for a stop-off if you are in the area.

Stopped for a coffee in the tea room this morning and it was very nice. Friendly staff and quick service. Bought a few things from the farm shop...huntsman's pie, sausage rolls, chutneys, pate, but they were't cheap. Very good quality but quite expensive.
