I found exhibition very interesting but don't have anything to eat there! My mum and another relative visited over a week ago and they're still not feeling 100% my mum and auntie still have upset stomachs! It's a shame there visit was spoilt!

We are sad that your mum and auntie had stomach upsets but have doubts that our 5 star hygiene rated fully vegetarian cafe could be the source of the problem. We have never ever had a complaint to investigate so think the tummy upsets must have had a different cause. We hope they are feeling better now.

For anyone who has an interest in embroidery, it is a must see with a variety of completed works. The staff are exceptionally friendly.

The care and thought that went into this series of tapestries, designed and stitched by Quakers all over the world, is phenomenal. The tapestries cover not only major events in the history of the Quaker movement but also themes from Quaker practice and worship. They are truly inspiring for Quaker and non-Quaker visitors alike.

A most interesting exhibition and instructive too. A friendly and soothing place. If you are short of time, there is a short explanatory video which explains the history of the tapestry, narrated by Bridget Guest who works at the centre.

The tapestry exhibition was not as I had expected it to be as there are many different tapestries telling interesting stories that really make you think about their application to life today.
The building gives an aura of calm Quaker life.
There is a small quaint coffee shop and a small gift shop.
