Levens Hall situated next to the A6 at Levens is owned by the Bagot family and has without a doubt one of the best topiaries in this country, The walled garden is maintained to a very high standard and the shapes and sizes bushes and trees are amazing. Lovely café and gift shop with plenty of parking.
Well worth a visit.

Tremendously charming and interesting inside and of course the gardens including the topiary were gorgeous. For all its history the house felt like a home and I thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was delicious and well priced at cafe and was a nice place to break between doing the house and gardens. Delightful!

A superb garden if you are in this area. The topiary is amazing and the oldest in Uk I think. The borders were fantastic when we visited and wonderfully colourful. I just wish we could visit more often. We had lunch in the Buttery and it was fine.Lovely staff. We did not visit the house.

Visited the house and gardens on a beautiful hot day. The gardens were in full bloom and amazing. The various sections were all linked by shaded walkways lined with shrubs and flowers. There was a blaze of colour everywhere which added to the experience
The house was interesting and held many features of interest.
Overall this was a pleasant, relaxing day out at a beautiful venue
