“Beautiful relaxing view”
Reviewed July 4, 2015 for a stay in June 2015

This is a beautiful apartment with the most relaxing view. We didn't want to leave. Carol allowed us to bring our little dog. This is the perfect place to travel by bus to other parts of the Lake District as the bus station is a 5 minute walk away. Everything you will need is in this apartment. There are thoughtful touches of a welcome pack which included dog chews in ours. The bed is comfy which is important and there is a massage reclining chair which was very good. We would highly recommend here and will book again in the future.

“A Fantastic Apartment”

We really enjoyed our stay here. A wonderful view from the front room window. Everything you wanted was in the apartment. A good central place to stay. The Owner was lovely. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend this fantastic property. Many thanks Carol.

“Excellent little apartment”
Reviewed September 5, 2014 for a stay in September 2014

We booked this apartment mainly for its convenience for the town centre of Kendal, and it truly was only a few minutes walk to lots of shops and restaurants, whilst also quiet and with a relaxing view over the river. It was very comfortable and equipped with everything we could need. We wouldn't hesitate to book it again if returning to Kendal.

“Fabulous, lovely location, nice extra touches”
Reviewed June 2, 2014 for a stay in May 2014

We stayed for 2 nights with our dog. We wanted to visit the lake district and do some walking, enjoy some nice food and chill out without the kids. The apartment was absolutely immaculate, very clean and everything was taken care of. There was a box of biscuits, chocolates, pint of milk as well as toilet roll, handsoap, washing up liquid, tea, coffee the list goes on and on. The view out of front window is directly over the river, the footbridge being just two minutes away to walk over to a lovely park area. If you want to walk further you take a hike up to Kendal castle ruins which gives you fantastic views. The town in walkable within two minutes. Nice restaurant is the D'ja vue, lovely little French bistro fab food and very friendly. None of the bars/restaurants are very dog friendly though in Kendal but they are if you go further into the Lakes. Carol who meets you on arrival could not be more friendly and helpful, very lovely lady and she takes great pride in making sure everything for your stay is provided for.
