We actually stayed in this Inn, and would have liked to review it as somewhere to stay, rather than its food. Rooms were a little dated, but the large, comfy and quiet, and the owner and his nephew (?) worked hard for us. Great service, able to sit out in the evenings with a patio heater, awesome breakfasts, which my little girl loved. Extra touches included hot water bottles, local advice about where to go, genuine interest in the people they were looking after. And easy to find, at the edge of Kendal. Thoroughly recommended and planning to go back.
