Great value, lovely location - all we needed for a week away. Owners very straightforward to deal with.

“Fantastic hosts and house!”
Reviewed February 26, 2017 for a stay in November 2016

Simon/Alba tried to meet me on arival & departure (apologies, we were up with a busy plan for the weekend!) - were super happy for me to leave my bags to collect in the eve on departure day, and provided an additional fold out bed which was surprisingly comfortable, nespresso maker - just a great stay!

“Great base for Lake District”
Reviewed January 6, 2017 for a stay in December 2016

The place is about a 10 minute walk from Kendal shops. The house is nicely kitted with Alexa and all furnishings top quality. The shower is amazing. It was a good base for exploring the Lake District. Parking just across the road. We travelled with our toddler and she was well catered for with cot bed, high chair and toys.

“Great Cottage in Kendal”
Reviewed January 4, 2017 for a stay in December 2016

Had a great time at this property. Its furnished with great flair but also its a really comfortable place. The cottage is well appointed with everything needed for a great stay even including the Amazon Alexa assistant.
The area is really nice with a great local pub a few doors down just past the original Postman Pat post office.
Simon and Alba were great hosts too. A short walk downhill to town and a steep one back. Bus stop outside if required.
Highly recommended.

“A lovely place to stay! ”
Reviewed January 4, 2017 for a stay in November 2016

Can't be positive enough about this property and the hosts.

The property itself is recently renovated and as such has everything you could need and lots of other little bits of tech to play with too. There is also a guide provided as well as a box of leaflets on nearby activities, shops and walks which was really helpful.

The hosts are lovely, clearly care about the property and it's guests and nothing was too much trouble.

The surrounding area is beautiful too, with a good high street just a 10 minute walk downhill and plenty of opportunities to walk around and explore.

The only thing that could be mentioned is that the stairs of the property are a little steep so could be difficult with children, but a baby gate has been placed on the stairs if needed due to this.

Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again one day.
