Reasonably large place with a number of fairly small rooms and seating outside off the main road. Ample parking nearby. Having the brewery it has a good range of interesting beers. We only had time for a 'swift half' but the atmosphere was good with a mixture of family groups and chatting couples. Service was quick enough and the food we saw being served looked good.

Nice spacious pub which had family areas so we were able to go with our 7 year old son.Hubby loves his real ale so was very happy.

I had the fish pie which was pretty good, but wish I had ordered hubbys rib eye steak. It came with wonderful looking onion rings, amazingly good chips and a big salad. Our son's burger was pretty good as well.

Hubby had the eton mess for dessert - huge portion which he sadly managed to demolish all by himself.

Prices were fairly reasonable for the quality, most mains around £10 - £11, rib eye steak £17.50.

Definitely would come back if we were in the area.

The beer from this exceptional microbrewery is reason enough to seek out this gem of a pub, but there is a lot more to recommend it as well. They serve some really good food and the staff and surroundings make for a cosy and friendly atmosphere. The inn is conveniently located, a couple of miles from Windermere village and has its own car park.

A lovely unspoilt pub that caters for dogs and serves food all day. Great selection of beers and lovely atmosphere, even at 4pm midweek! We had a very late lunch of sandwiches and chips and found the bar person very smiley and chatty. Thank you for a lovely stop off.

This is a real picture book brew pub. The food offered is typical of English pubs: Good and more than enough. The individual rooms of this pub have their own different atmosphere and all are comfortable and have an old world charm.

This pub is very popular and gets crowded easily. Don't miss the local beer. It's great.
