“exhilirating walk”
Reviewed September 7, 2013

The walk starts off as quite easy on a path. It progresses to a bit of a goat track and becomes quite steep. Views are spectacular along the path. As you climb you will see the village of Grasmere in the distance.
I have a knee which is affected by arthritis and I managed to make it to the tarn. Slow and steady and rest as you go.
We walked down along the marshy track. I found this easier and less taxing on my knees.

“Lovely walk - can't get lost!”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Good path, great views (and waterfall!) Not a difficult climb, and very close to Grasmere - overall an easy walk for beginners!

“Well worth a visit.”
Reviewed September 4, 2013

By local standards, it's an easy walk to get to Easedale Tarn, and well worth it once you're there -- navigating there and back simply involves following the obvious path. Nice little waterfall just before the Tarn.

“Beautiful Sunday stroll”
Reviewed August 30, 2013

Walked out from Bridge House Hotel, through Grasmere, up a lane, then gradually into the trails, ending up at the peacefully, serene tarn.

“A lovely walk with a fantastic spot at the top”
Reviewed August 27, 2013

A steep ascent takes you up past sour milk gill waterfall and leads on the the tarn at the top. Surrounded by fantastic views over Grasmere this walk would be good for most novice walkers although walking boots a must!
