Had a great curry in this pub restaurant. A little bit expensive in comparison to other pubs' food, but the quality of this food was above average compared to other typical pub restaurants.
The fireplaces were a welcome warm respite during a cold and wet Lake District Autumn.
The staff were very friendly. It is true that they were all foreign, of probable Eastern European origin, and had rather broken English. However, they were courteous and helpful, and other reviews on this site that appear to dismiss them, purely because of their foreign origin, are simply xenophobic.
