Myself & my husband ate at Tweedies on New Year's Eve - we were in for the 1st sitting (6.30) & then we moved through to the bar. The meal was lovely but there were alot of courses which to be fair, we had paid for so that was not an issue (although we had to be rolled out!!). A smaller menu would have been a nice option. By the time we moved through to the bar it was getting busy (obviously) & we had to share tables with other people - this was not a problem at all & added to the party atmosphere. The staff were pushed but we didn't wait long at the bar. There were a few people (mainly 1 group) moaning about various things & trying to let everyone else know how unhappy they were but I think it may have been the amount of alcohol they had rather than any issue with Tweedies as most people seemed to be very happy. It isn't a particularly child friendly place but then again, it is a pub & it was very busy (with adults consuming alcohol). All in all we had a really good night & the fireworks at New Year were fantstic!! Thankyou to all the staff for making it such a good night.
