We did not stay here, unfortunately, but booked for an evening meal only. On arrival we were quickly made welcome by the owners who were very friendly and chatty, shown to some seats with roaring open fire near by. After being served drinks we chose our meal and then were given a home made appetiser that teased our taste buds with the chefs skills. Wow!, were we wanting to get started.
The dining here is brilliant. The menu is fresh,locally sourced and imaginative. The staff are attentive without being obtrusive and are properly trained to deliver a quality product. The food is great to look at and excites the eyes before the taste buds, with each course bringing a new and novel approach to the pallet. The wine list is comprehensive, we had the Carmenere red from Chile and a desert wine for the cheese to finish our meal off perfectly.
We chatted to the owners after the meal and left feeling sorry we were not staying there as well. It is now definitely on our to do list to go back, kick back, chill out, pig out……………...
