If you are not a Coniston history geek then you may be disappointed as much of the exhibition is not very interesting. The rock climbing section is good. The Ruskin material is rather boring to be frank! There is a great display of Donald Campbell/Bluebird exhibits and information which we found fascinating and made the visit to the museum worthwhile. Upstairs is a small exhibition of art work - fine if you like art galleries. Don't take small children (and even some bigger ones!) as they will become very bored with the whole thing.
