“Safe and Spacious Choice”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed September 3, 2012

Graysonside is a converted, fairly modern, farmhouse. The public area is a little sparse but our bedroom, and the others we peeked at!, were of good size, with all normal amenities and comfortable beds. The owners were friendly and efficient, breakfast was good - with the wild life that others have mentioned clearly in sight. The house is set in the middle of farmland and there are a couple of areas where one could sit out in the vending and enjoy a drink from the pleasant little bar.

Room Tip: If you have very sensitive ears then you might want to avoid rooms on the side of the house facing a...

After our recent trip to the UK staying in various B&B's we found Graysonside to be the best! Initially stumbling across it on our way through the lake district we decided to stay the night and ended up staying 3. we found the people were friendly and would go out of there way to make our stay more enjoyable, the room was perfect definant great value for money and the Breakfasts were also Great.
I do highly Recomend anyone that visits the region to stay in this B&B.

Just finished a delicious breakfast whilst watching a woodpecker, bluetits, chaffinch's robins etc all darting around outside the breakfast room.. Fantastic setting!!

Stayed one night in a lovely room in one of the converted outbuildings, individual decor, comfy bed, great shower ( very important!) and very clean.

Would definitely visit again, highly recommended.

Fantastic all round! Definitely the best bed and breakfast I've ever stayed in. We all felt like part of the family and the food was outstanding.

Having stayed here regularly for some years whilst visiting my mother in law in the area, it has been good to see the improvements to the facilities. The quality of the facilities/rooms is excellent as is the breakfast......great attention to detail all round. Thank you for all your efforts and we wish you well for the future.

We stayed for 1 night and think this place is idyllic. We were at a wedding and was not able to check in during the day. I phoned to explain and was told it wasn't a problem at all. Instructions will be left for me to find my room. Sure enough on the side were instructions and to our surprise we were met by the owner at 12.30 P.M. The room was lovely, clean, inviting, cost. The bed was really confy and the bathroom really modern and spotless. Breakfast was lovely, fresh fruit was brought to us and the cooked breakfast was perfect.
It is a beautiful place and the setting is lovely too, watching the wildlife while having breakfast was nice.

Definitely worthy of 5 star and highly recommended. I have never left a review before but felt I had too as we enjoyed our stay so much.
