We stayed here to 2 nights recently and is one of the best bed and breakfasts we have stayed in, Julie & Nigel were very welcoming and very helpful. Breakfast was excellent and the room we had was beautiful. Ambleside is a very beautiful town with fantastic walks. The b&b is in a brilliant location, smack bang in the town with lots of restaurants to go to.
The chocolate cake on our return was a lovely treat and being able to have a hot soak after was a bonus. The room we had was beautifully decorated with a massive bathroom, lovely fluffy towels and the most comfortable bed!
My only niggle was the noise from the room above us, we could hear people talking and walking around as the building is quite old & creaky, but we were so exhausted from the amazing walks everyday it didnt keep us awake the whole night and I would most definately return again!
