“weekend at easdale lodge”
Reviewed February 12, 2013

over the years my husband and i have spent many weekends in ambleside in various b&b's. We have to say that Easdale lodge is by far one of the nicest. Sarah and Dave could not do enough for us and the breakfast was lovely. The produce was locally sourced and the house was immaculate. We look forward to our next visit. Tom & Lynn B.

I have always wanted to stay at this b+b as its in such a great location in Ambleside and the breakfast conservatory always looked a lovely place to have your morning breakfast, watching Ambleside wake up. For my 20th Birthday, I got my wish and booked to stay here for 2 nights.
I couldn't of asked for a better place to stay. Sarah was welcoming, friendly and very accommodating. Me and my boyfriend stayed in room 2 and it was just as beautiful as the photo online illustrated. Clean, modern, comfortable and lovely views! The bathroom was great with lovely toiletries provided.
The breakfast was fantastic, lots of choice and very good quality. I had full English both mornings which set me up perfectly for the days ahead.
There was so much attention to detail and service was spot on. Sarah and her husband know how to provide a quality, freindly, service which left me wanting to stay so much longer! Will definitely be coming back!

We have just returned from a brilliant few day away at easedale lodge to celebrate our daughters birthday!!! Well what can i say! from the minute we arrived everything was perfect. The rooms are beautifully decorated and have everything you need. The welcome from Sarah and Dave was the friendliest we have ever had, nothing was too much trouble making it feel like home from home. Breakfast was superb with a wide variety to choose from, they even arranged the tables so we could all eat together in the conservatory.Sarah and Dave have a keen eye for detail, they even left a birthday card for our daughter in her room. Thanks for making this special occasion extra special!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! XXXXXXXXXX ( we will be back ) Julie and Derek Pearson.

Room Tip: We stayed in room 6, right at the top so views were spectacular.

What a little gem of a guest house. On arrival Sarah and Dave could not have been more welcoming.
Our room was fabulous and everything so spotlessly clean. Breakfast was absolutely gorgeous and well presented, everything about this place oozes quality and only a very short walk from all the attractions of Ambleside.
We will definitely return here.

We stopped for two nights at Easedale Lodge. Sarah, the owner was very welcoming. Room excellent. Breakfast excellent. Situated within 2 minutes walk of the centre of Ambleside, Loads of places to eat or have a drink. The white Lion pub has a lovely open fire, especially nice with this arctic weather!! Thanks Sarah. Hope to see you again.
